Terms and Conditions : Penthouse Apartment Georgos
- Bookings will be between the owner of the apartment (herein after called 'the owner') and the person making the booking (herein after called 'the client) and are valid after
- The booking form has been completed, signed and received by the owner
- The appropriate deposit has been paid to the owner by the client
- The booking has been confirmed to the client by the owner in writing or by e-mail. Telephone bookings will be held for a maximum of 7 days. The owner reserves the right to cancel any telephone reservation thereafter unless a completed booking form and appropriate deposit has been received.
- By signing the booking form, the client accepts these conditions and warrants that he/she acknowledges being a member of the traveling party and he/she is authorized to agree them on behalf of all other persons alluded to in the booking. It is therefore the client's responsibility to inform all members of the client's party.
- The client may not sub-let, nor assign the property, nor share with any persons other than those listed on the booking form. The client and the number of guests at the property must not exceed the total party size as specified in the property information.
- A non-refundable booking deposit of 30% of the total invoice value is required from the client prior to the issue of the confirmation invoice by the owner.
- The balance is payable not less than 60 days prior to the rental period.
- Where bookings are received within the 60 day of the booking dates, payment of the full invoice must be made at the time of booking. If the client does not pay the outstanding balance (and this refers to deposits, full contract price, or any portion thereof) at the aforementioned due times, the owner reserves the right to cancel the booking. In this event, the contract shall be deemed terminated by the owner and deposits forfeited.
- If payment is made by credit card, only the client's credit card can be used for all payments.
- The client will receive all paperwork including, address, directions, contact names and telephone numbers 14 days prior to departure.
- Any cancellation by the client must be notified in writing directly to the owner. Cancellation shall be determined by the date that this written notice is received by the owner requesting cancellation of the contract, the following charges will apply;
- 60+ days prior to travel - loss of deposit
- 31 to 59 days prior to travel - 50% of the total cost
- 30 to 15 days prior to travel - 80% of the total cost
- 14 or less days prior to travel - 100% of the total cost
- It is recommended that the client should purchase holiday insurance, inclusive of cancellation protection, as the owner does not cover losses due to personal or family circumstances or those, which would be covered by travel insurance.
- The use of the accommodation and the facilities is entirely at the client's risk. No responsibility is implied or accepted by the owners or their agents for injury, for loss of damage to the client, visitors or their belongings, however caused. Baggage and personal belongings are at the clients risk at all times and no responsibility is implied or accepted for any loss or damage to any car or its contents (It is recommended that the client should purchase adequate insurance to cover all members of the group should a vehicle be hired).
- The high chair and travel cot are supplied upon request free of charge entirely at the client's own risk. No responsibility is implied or accepted by the owners or their agents for injury, for loss of damage to the client, however caused. It is the client's responsibility to inspect both high chair and travel cot and report any concerns to the management company prior to use.
- All persons use of the swimming pool and surrounding area is entirely at their own risk, it is specifically requested children must be supervised by adults at all times when using or around the swimming pool. No diving is permitted at any time and no glass objects are to be taken onto the pool/patio area at any time.
- The client must abide by all stated regulations regarding use of communal areas i.e. Pool, Lifts, Lobbies and Staircases.
- The shaking of any mat or carpet or other thing out of the windows or doors and the drying of washing in any place other than where fixed laundry lines are is prohibited.
- The apartment is strictly a no smoking environment. Any damage caused by or relating to the act of smoking within the duration of the clients rental period will be the responsibility of the client and charged accordingly.
- Rental periods will start at 3.00pm local time on the first day of the booked period as specified on the confirmation invoice and must be vacated by 10.00am on the last day as specified within the confirmation invoice.
- A security deposit of 100.00 is payable upon booking.
- The client is responsible for the property and is expected to take reasonable care of it at all times and is responsible to leave the property in the same condition of cleanliness and repair as upon arrival.
- All damages, breakages and losses are the legal responsibility of the client. Any costs incurred by the owner for the maintenance, repair or replacement of the apartment, equipment, facilities or fixtures required due to misuse, will be charged to the client and deducted from the security deposit.
- The client is further responsible for any damages, which exceed the security deposit.
- Unless otherwise stated normal use of electricity, water and cooking gas as well as basic dinnerware, glassware, pots, pans and utensils and 1 set of bed linen and 1 set of towels per person per week and air conditioning are provided.
- The security deposit shall be returned/refunded in full following a satisfactory report from the property managers and if no smoking has occurred in the apartment during the rental period or excess cleaning required.
- With reference to point 19, the security deposit will be sent to the client within 30 days of the clients return date as stated on the confirmation invoice.
- Travel arrangements, insurance and transportation are not included in the price.
- Consumables of any kind are not included in the price. This excludes the welcome pack provided free of charge should the client request it.
- Under no circumstances are animals allowed at the apartment.
- All guests must act responsibly and with respect towards other guests, key holders and their staff at all times. The owner and/or the property management company reserves the right, acting in good faith to ask any individual to vacate the premises for disruptive behavior, without refund.
- The owner will not be responsible for any noise or disturbances caused by third parties outside of the property.
- Should the client consider that there is any reason for complaint whilst staying at the apartment this should be made during the rental period, complaints after this period will not be considered for action. The client must approach the property management company at the time the complaint is discovered.
- Upon arrival, it is the client's responsibility to inspect the property and report any concerns. Sufficient time must be given for the complaint to be investigated and resolved. Clients vacating the property without prior notice within their rental-booking period waver any claim thereafter should any good faith remedies be not accepted. Failure to report a problem or condition during a rental period constitutes the clients acceptance as such and wavers any claim thereafter.
- The owner or their property manager will not be liable for any loss of delay to, or cancellation of the client's holiday due to industrial disputes, riots and threats of hostilities, political unrest, natural disasters, closure of airports or sea ports, aircraft grounding, adverse weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond their control.
- The client making the booking and each member of the traveling party agree to accept and abide by the terms and conditions of this contract.
- This contract is subject to and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and the parties hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
